Adoption Process
All animal sales are subject to an adoption interview. This can usually be done through email, but over the phone, through text message, Facebook, Instagram, or Skype are also options. Video call with a guardian, or photo with written consent to buy and assurance of financial responsibility are required in the event of a sale to a minor (-18). I will not ship animals to anyone in CA, special exceptions may be made for qualified homes, but I'd prefer to meet locals in person, and will drive to meet you halfway.
Payment
All online transactions must be done through Paypal. The first payment sent is non-refundable unless offered in whole or in part by the seller. Please send non-refundable payments through friends and family, and all other payments can be made through goods and services for yours and our protection. Seller is responsible for all fees and taxes. Please do not attempt to send payment until a deal has been worked out, availability on our website is not always accurate. Payment for shipping is not required until the label is being made, after arranging and confirming the date. Shipping does not count toward the total when calculating % or cost of a deposit.
Hold Policy
Payment plans, or multiple payments sent over a period of time with an initial non-refundable deposit, are available for any order that exceeds $50 not including the shipping cost. Orders $100 or more require a 25% non-refundable deposit on the total cost of the animal(s) before shipping to hold indefinitely. Orders under $100 require a deposit of $50 to hold pending additional payment and/or shipping. No deposits are accepted on orders totaling less than $50 before shipping costs, however, free temporary holds are often given at seller's discretion in such circumstances, until the animal(s) are fully paid for. When paid in full, your animal(s) will be held as long as need be to meet proper shipping conditions, be it decent weather, minimum weight, or buyer & seller availability.
Refunds
The first payment sent is non-refundable unless offered in whole or in part by the seller. Any other payments sent before shipping are able to be refunded or transferred at any time. Once a shipping label is made, the shipping cost cannot be refunded.
Full refunds are available if you report d.o.a. within the first 12 hours after the gecko arrives. Other full or partial refunds will be considered on a case by case basis, but we will only pay return shipping if the reason for refund is our mistake. You must be present at the time of delivery, or pick up the animal(s) from a FedEx Ship Center the day they arrive for D.O.A. to be covered by seller.
Live Arrival Guarantee
When shipping live animals, you have our guarantee that the animal will arrive alive or your money back. All animals for sale are healthy, eating well*, and at least 15 grams before being shipped. Unedited unboxing pictures or video must be provided within 24 hours to prove death upon arrival, in which case we will compensate you for your loss with a refund (shipping may not be refunded in all cases) or you'll receive a replacement of equal value if available based on our discretion. If an animal suffers injury after transferring ownership but arrives healthy, we cannot be held accountable and will not be offering refunds in such cases. D.O.A. is not covered if you fail to sign for the package when the geckos are delivered, or if you neglect to pick them up from Fedex.
*Ovulating females may not eat when presented with food, and shipping may also delay initial feeding response.
Quality Genetics
The animals we selectively breed are of high-end genetics and have known backgrounds. All have parent info and most even grandparent pictures available. Occasionally, we may advertise lesser quality animals that come from other breeders, have hereditary birth defects, or genetic uncertainties, and these will be specifically labeled for sale as "PET ONLY". If we discover you are breeding animals sold as pet only, or selling them as breeders, you will be put on our no-sell list and may wind up on a board of inquiry.
Some of our animals we release for sale may have non-harmful defects or imperfections, and these will also be mentioned and reflected in their price- these are often able to be bred at your discretion.

Just like many other breeders, we use Fedex priority overnight services through Ship Your Reptiles or Reptiles Express.
This usually costs $50, but varies by distance from 94551 and by box size. In the event that you live in a remote location and Fedex cannot deliver the package to your home, we will let you know prior to shipping that you may need to pick up at their nearest facility that accepts live shipments. Animals will not be shipped without communication between the buyer and seller first.
When shipped, they should arrive by 10:30 the next morning (or later if you live very far from the hub) and you are expected to be available to accept and sign for the package. Injury or death during shipping is covered through SYR if the gecko arrives late, and shipping can be refunded only in these circumstances unless the seller assumes fault or decides otherwise.
